James Franco to star in 11/22/63

 

The talented actor James Franco will be the lead in the nine-episode Hulu TV series based on Stephen King’s 11/22/63, officially from today.

 

The series will air later in 2015, produced by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot. The fantasy novel 11/22/63 revolves around the concept of time travel. In a diner’s pantry there is a portal, ‘locked’ onto September 9, 1958, and someone going back in time is only ‘gone’ from the present for just two minutes, no matter how long he stayed in the past. The diner owner asks to a friend, (James Franco), to go into the past, waiting about five years, and stop Lee Harvey Oswald from assassinating John F. Kennedy in 1963.
