PS4 Exclusive Rime Delayed To 2016?

UPDATE: Blog Manager Fred Dutton answered on the EU PlayStation Blog with the following statement:
The team are working hard on it! We don’t have a confirmed release window at present, hence why it’s not included above, but as soon as it’s locked down we’ll let you know.
ORIGINAL STORY: I was among the audience at Gamescom 2013 when Rime, an indie game by Tequila Works, was announced with a stunning trailer. The game’s art style and overall vibe seemed reminiscent of titles such as Ico, Journey and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, with the added bonus of graphics powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4.
Unfortunately, one year and a half later we still don’t know a lot about Rime and it looks like 2015 won’t be the year of its release, either. During Gamescom 2014 Tequila Works tweeted to be targeting 2015 (see below), but yesterday Sony Computer Entertainment published a massive list of games scheduled to be available in 2015 on all PlayStation platforms and Rime is nowhere to be found.
Granted, this could be a simple mistake from the folks who put the list together - there are so many games that it’s easy to miss one, and in fact a few important games were indeed missing initially. However, as users pointed them out in the comments they were slowly added to the list, along with a thank you from a Sony representative; Rime’s absence was also pointed out by multiple users, but no reply was given whatsoever to these comments.
The latest update on Twitter is from 20 January; when asked how Rime was progressing, they replied “so far so good!”.
Rime, originally pitched to Microsoft for XBLA & Windows 8 before Redmond’s giant turned it down because it lacked multiplayer/social features, is an open world “action puzzle adventure” where a boy will need to figure out how to escape the island and its curse. It’s quite a departure from the developer’s previous work on Deadlight, a 2.5D sidescrolling survival/platform game with zombies.
Stay tuned as we’ll report any confirmation or denial of this rumor, along with any further update on this interesting project.
