Ender’s Game on top of the US Box Office

The movie adaptation of the classic sci-fi novel Ender’s Game by Gavin Hood opened in first place at the US Box Office of the weekend. The movie with Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield and Hailee Steinfeld gained an estimated $28 million.

 

The weekend’s other two new releases, Last Vegas and Free Birds, scored almost the same number of tickets, gaining  $16.5 million and $16.2 million and placing at the third and fourth place respectively. The position number two instead is occupied by the crazy Johnny Knoxville and his Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, for an amount of $20.5 million.
