More sci-fi for Tom Cruise with Yukikaze

After walking on the wastelands of planet Earth in Oblivion and being ready for the time loops in 2014 with the upcoming All You Need is Kill, Tom Cruise is confirming himself as one of the most wanted actors in the sci-fi productions of these years. The movie star has in fact been asked for the main role in the first movie adaptation of the series Yukikaze (until now adapted only once as anime), a space opera written by the japanese Chohei Kambayashi.

The movie will be produced by Warner Bros and it will be set on a planet Earth shattered by a war with an alien race known as JAM. The only hope to win the battle is by using the very dimensional shift which opened in the Antarctic allowing the aliens to invade us. This shift can be used to reach their homeland too, and with this plan in mind a lieutenant (Tom Cruise) will be charged to penetrate behind the enemy lines to gather precious informations for the human resistance.

The production is still at a very early stage, but keep following us if you want to learn more about this project!
