Transformers 4: chinese casting with a reality show

The sci-fi saga from director Michael Bay may be a fun ride for the kids, or even mindless entertainment for adults, but its strong points are certainly not either deep screenplay or Oscar worthy perfomance by the cast. Confirming this last thought, it has been announced today that Transformers 4 will give to four winners from a Chinese reality show the chance to “act” in the movie. The name of this Tv competition will be Transformers 4 Chinese Actor Talent Search.
I don’t know why, but something tells me that the overall quality of the acting will not be improved in the next chapter of the saga. The release is currently planned for 27 June 2014.
