Dragon Age Inquisition Makes Skyrim Feel Small; Multiplayer A Mashup Of ME3 & Dark Souls

Some colleagues already have their Dragon Age Inquisition review copies, and a few of them are already venting thoughts on Twitter. Daniel Kaszor, Editor for the National Post, gave a surprising description of the multiplayer mode - we already knew it was derived from Mass Effect 3 MP, but the mention of Dark Souls is intriguing. I’ll try to ask him more information on this.

Most fans are waiting Dragon Age Inquisition primarily for its campaign, though, and I’m sure they’ll be happy to hear that the game is so large, Kaszor feels that it makes even Skyrim seem small in comparison.

An interesting metaphor brought up by Kaszor is that Bioware games so far have been like stage plays, since they were all pretty small in terms of world size. Apparently, Dragon Age Inquisition changes that:

I can definitely see where he’s coming from. I also wished to have an open world to explore in pretty much all of their earlier titles, and it will be a pleasure to finally wander around in the fantasy land of Ferelden. On another note, Electronic Arts released today the last gameplay trailer, showing choice & consequences in the world of Dragon Age Inquisition. The game is out on November 18 for PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
