Assassin’s Creed Unity Time Anomaly trailer

Assassin’s Creed Unity, the upcoming 2014 new generation installment of the long running Assassin’s Creed series, is set to be released between November and December on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

This new chapter is set within Paris during the French Revolution, with the single-player campaign which also introduces a four player coop option. However, today a new Assassin’s Creed Unity trailer has been released, courtesy of Ubisoft, and it is pretty damn weird; it’s called Time Anomaly and it doesn’t show the ‘700 French Revolution setting as expected, but somehow the player character finds himself in Paris during the World War. This nice trick allowed the developers to add the ability to climb the Tour Eiffel, as you can see in the screenshots.

Also, the YouTube channel Assassin’s Creed UK teases us with a strange message: Fatal Error: French Revolution simulation failed to load. Time anomaly detected.
