Disney to adapt A Wrinkle in Time

Walt Disney Pictures is gladly announcing today that the next Studio’s effort will be the adaptation of the classic tale A Wrinkle in Time, by Madeline L’Engle.

The cartoon will make its way to the big screen thanks to the acclaimed Frozen director Jennifer Lee (pictured). Disney has already produced an adaptation of the book for television back in 2003, following the original story about a young girl whose father, a government scientist, goes missing after working on a mysterious project called a tesseract.

The novel is dated 1962 and it won a Newbery Medal, Sequoyah Book Award, and Lewis Carroll Shelf Award.
