No Man’s Sky Could Arrive Later On PC

Sean Murray, Managing Director of Hello Games, announced back during Sony’s E3 2014 Press Conference that No Man’s Sky would have made its console debut on PlayStation 4. This technically left the door open for a PC version released on the very same day, but an interview just published by Eurogamer seems to contradict that, with Murray stating clearly that Hello Games is a small team.

The wording is we’re doing a console debut on PS4. The thing that that leaves open is a PC version.

If I’m honest, we’re taking on quite a lot at the moment. We’re definitely coming to PS4. I would like to come to PC. Whether that arrives the same day - we’re a small team!

This clearly implies that the focus right now is all on the PlayStation 4 version and while a PC release seems a fair bet, it could very well be coming at a later point. An Xbox One version may be possible but even further down the road, since the developer isn’t willing to talk about it for now, although Phil Spencer already proclaimed his love for the game and will probably try to bring it on the platform in any way.
