MGSV: TPP Announcement To Be About Release Date & Preorder

GDC 2015 is just starting and news are dropping already. Konami officially said via Twitter that IGN will have an exclusive announcement to show on Wednesday about MGSV: TPP (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain).

Though there’s no official word yet, everyone is hoping that Kojima-san will finally unveil the highly anticipated release date for MGSV: TPP, and now there’s some more evidence towards this end. While scouring through the CSS of the official MGSV page (the one with the countdown), user ekim of the Neogaf board found out file names which seem to hint that the announcement will be about the coveted release date and possibly a preorder for a special edition.

The countdown will end at 6AM PT - 9AM ET - 2PM GMT - 3PM CET, with IGN providing the news along with a “special message” from Hideo Kojima. Is the wait over? We certainly hope so! Stay tuned.
