New Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns Screenshots Arise

NCSoft and ArenaNet have just issued a press release including a bunch of brand new Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns screenshots. After the reveal at PAX South, the developer promised that more news would be forthcoming and it looks like they’re delivering on this front; yesterday, a blog post explained how ArenaNet intends to enhance its open world content in the upcoming expansion with Outposts and Adventures, while another blog post detailing Masteries appeared later today.

This new set of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns screenshots shows all three layers of the Maguuma Jungle: the canopy, floor and roots.

We can also see hang gliding and mushroom jumping, two new powers acquired via Masteries, along with a menacing Mordrem Wyvern.

Finally, it was announced that the first live gameplay of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns will be streamed tomorrow at 20:00 (8PM) GMT on the official GW2 Twitch channel, with host Rubi Bayer and expansion content designers Anthony Ordon and Steve Hwang who will journey in the jungle.
