Civilization: Beyond Earth is the spiritual successor to the 1999s game Alpha Centauri. The game’s setting is unique to the Civilization series, as it will take place in the future, with mankind traveling through space and founding colonies on extraterrestrial planets. The game is planned for release on PC, MAC and Linux on October 24.
