Winter Sleep gets US distribution

Palme d’Or winner at Cannes 2014 Winter Sleep will finally get US distribution.
Adopt Films has acquired all American rights of Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s movie, with a plan for an end-2014 release in theaters.
The 3 hours and 16 minutes Turkish drama is set in Anatolia and examines the significant divide between the rich and poor, the powerful and powerless, in Turkey.
Critically acclaimed (Metascore is 83), the movie is also praised by the audience as a wonderful piece of cinema.
