Last Friday, we were invited by Sony Computer Entertainment to Beyond: Two Souls‘ presentation by David Cage and Willem Dafoe. We recorded the whole thing, of course, and you can watch it below (although as you may see I was stuck in a mid-to-back seat, thanks to public transport delay) in its entirety. One interesting highlight is that, according to Cage, their new interactive system is all based on context and movement as such, each scene and movement is different and unique, to that point that we’ll never see the same sequence or even animation twice in Beyond.
We have another roundtable interview with the game press that is being uploaded right now, and fortunately in this one I was able to get a front position. Look forward to that tomorrow.
Beyond: Two Souls will release today in North America and on 11th October in Europe, exclusively for PlayStation 3.
