David Cage, the boss at Quantic Dream, just promised that in Beyond Two Souls it will be impossible to live the same experience twice. It’s a lofty goal for sure, and Cage just explained a bit more to Eurogamer:
Every scene will offer a different challenge. Every scene is unique, as if you were watching a movie. The plot is narrated in chronological disorder, like in the movie Memento; this creates an interesting dynamics, where sometimes you might watch the consequences of an action before seeing the cause.
Beyond Two Souls is expected to hit physical and digital stores (PSN) sometime in October, exclusively for PlayStation 3. We should be able to take a look at the game during Gamescom.
