Riddick tops the Box Office on a soft week

Despite being under the studio’s predicted $20 million, the debut of the movie Riddick places it at the top of the domestic Box Office of this week. The Vin Diesel third sequel of his action/sci-fi saga gained an estimated $18.7 million in a not very competitive week (nine years ago The Chronicles of Riddick opened with $24 million).
