Nintendo eShop: 8/8/13 - 8/15/13

This week in Nintendo’s electronic shop are several new additions to the Wii U and 3DS.

The fourth entry to the Mario & Luigi RPG series, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, will be available to download on Aug. 11 on the 3DS eShop. As a part of Nintendo’s “Year of Luigi” celebration, Dream Team has Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach receiving an invite for a free vacation to Pi’illo Island from Dr. Snoozmore. After a series of events Mario must venture through Luigi’s dreams and the island to rescue Princess Peach, Prince Dreambert and the people of Pi’illo Island from the Antasma curse.

In other eShop releases, DuckTales: Remastered is finally releasing on the Wii U’s eShop. This game is a remake of a widely regarded NES classic among gamers everywhere. It will be made to download on Aug. 13 for $14.99.

3DS download title escapeVektor is also on sale. escapeVektor is fast-paced arcade game with a retro style where Vektor is trying to escape the CPU. The game is half-off from at Aug. 8 to 9 a.m. PT Aug 22.
