James Mangold’s The Wolverine (click here to check the review by Worlds Factory thanks to our JD Brewer) during its first weekend of release has already largely covered its production costs of $120 million, gaining an estimated $55 million domestically plus another $86 million in the rest of the world.
A good second place for the horror The Conjuring with $22.1 million while the hugely grossing Despicable Me 2 (more than $306 million gained since opening) is still able to sit on the “top three” after a month from its release.
