Ubisoft has posted a new gameplay demo for the upcoming stealth action game, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The Splinter Cell Blacklist - Liquid Natural Gas Plant demo features Sam Fisher dropping into a the middle of a blaze at a liquid natural gas plant. As expected, Fisher climbs pipes, sneaks up to and executes patrolling enemies, and makes use of various gadgets and goggle vision modes. The demo highlights several sneaky and lethal measures Sam can use to eliminate enemies, including the new “Killing in Motion” feature and incendiary grenades.
The sixth installment of the Tom Clancy-branded series releases on August 20, 2013 in North America, 22 in Australia, and 23 in Europe for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Windows PC, and Wii U. Series voice actor veteran Michael Ironside will not be reprising his role as Sam Fisher, and the role will instead be played by Eric Johnson, who will also perform the motion capture for Fisher. A return of the classic “Spies vs. Mercs” multiplayer mode has been confirmed.
