Ghost Recon movie gains Michael Bay as developer

Los Angeles’ E3 it’s becoming a great meeting point between videogames and cinema this year. First Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell movie found a producer in the name of Basil Iwanyk, then earlier today we announced that veteran Frank Marshall was hired to produce Assassin’s Creed screen adaptation, and now it’s another Ubisoft game which have a big surprise for all of us. One of the biggest names in Hollywood is now attached to the Ghost Recon movie: it’s the producer/director Michael Bay.

At the moment he is signed as “developer”, which means he will take an eye on the project’s progress, being sure everything runs smoothly, but there is chance that he will become the actual director too, time will tell.
