Oceans of blood in 300: Rise of an Empire poster

Today a blood stained 300: Rise of an Empire poster was released, and it shows a contemplative Themistocles surrounded by oceans of human blood. You can watch it below, clicking for fullscreen resolution.

The 300 sequel, featuring Sullivan Stapleton as the Greek leader Themistocles forced to battle an invading army of Persians will hit theatres in 2014, starting March 7.

Noam Murro’s movie will also features Eva Green, Rodrigo Santoro and Lena Headey.
