We are counting days in the new Oldboy movie poster

The Oldboy remake with Josh Brolin, Samuel L. Jackson and Sharlto Copley made by Spike Lee (ten years after the Chan-wook Park’s masterpiece) will hit theatres on October 11, and today we can see its first poster. It looks like a very clever artwork, made to point up the “detention” part of the main character’s story. Click to see it at fullscreen.

The main plot revolves around a man, a famous advertising manager, that will be kidnapped and held in solitary confinement for 20 years in a room. One day, for no reason, he will be set free, and he will start his personal mission to understand who is captor was and why he did it.
