The Man from U.N.C.L.E. it’s a work in progress adaptation from long time now, that’s originally had Steven Soderbergh attached as director with George Clooney as one of the main characters. After some weeks Soderbergh has been replaced by director Guy Ritchie just like Clooney by Tom Cruise, and today another casting has been announced. Armie Hammer in fact will join the ranks of the secret organization and will team up with Cruise, and this is a signal that the film’s production is progressing, slowly but surely.
For the ones who don’t know what The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is, we can summarize that is an old American television series broadcasted by NBC from 1964 to 1968. It follows the exploits of two secret agents named Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin who works for the United Network Command for Law Enfocement, some sort of anti-evil corporation, whose main enemy is the terrorist association known as “Thrush”.
