Patrick Hughes will direct The Expendables 3

Sylvester Stallone has finally announced the name of the director for the third chapter of the action packed saga The Expendables. After proposing Mel Gibson over a week ago, and fueling our curiosity until yesterday with misleading tweets, today Stallone wrote online in one of his posts the name of the Australian director Patrick Hughes.

 

Hughes made only one movie in the past, his action Red Hill in 2010, a neo-western which impressed both critics and audience in many festivals and that was then acquired by Sony for distribution. This prove that the guy is ready for the real Hollywood now, and we will check it out in mid 2014.
