Speaking with EDGE, the vicepresident at Sony Worldwide Studios Michael Denny released a cryptic, but interesting comment regarding the price of the future PlayStation 4 platform, expected to launch later this year.

 

According to Denny, Sony needs to learn from its past by evaluating both triumphs and mistakes. The vicepresident also added that PlayStation 4 will need to be able to reach the widest range of players. When the EDGE journalist tried to inquire more, Denny replied that he could glean the rest on his own; it’s not an official confirmation then, but at any rate it’s not the right time for Sony to unveil PS4′s price.

This will likely happen at E3 in June, and we’ll be reporting (almost) live here on Worlds Factory.

    La comprerò un pò dopo il day1, voglio prima vedere l’effettiva veridicità di quanto hanno presentato all’evento ps. Ormai non compro più al day1 a occhi chiusi.

      Io invece credo proprio che la comprerò al lancio (non ho mai comprato una console al lancio,finora), per esigenze editoriali ma non solo. Il PlayStation Meeting mi ha sorpreso e finora tutti gli sviluppatori ne parlano benissimo. Sarà dura per Microsoft a questo giro, credo.

    @Alex beh si sicuramente esigenza editoriale a parte non vorrei che fosse tutto fumo..ormai non mi fido più nessuno in questo campo dopo cocenti delusioni che mi sono costate qualche dindino di troppo ;)
