Constantine TV Series on halt, but not cancelled

The interesting NBC drama Constantine will officially consist, for now, of 13 episodes only. The cast and crew of the series were informed on Friday that the show is stopping the production of any new original content.

Lately NBC is making some hard decisions on its TV Series, cancelling A to Z and Bad Judge but, as we speak, Constantine is only “paused”, so there is a chance to see a second-season after all.

NBC will probably monitor fan response to this halt, while also taking a look to the overall ratings of the complete first season, when aired, and then it will make a choice.

Constantine was one of three DC-themed new dramas this fall. The other two, Gotham on Fox and The Flash on the CW, both earned their renewals.
