New Alleluia trailer by Fabrice du Welz

A new Alleluia trailer hits the web today, showing us a story made of sex, violence and fear.

The Belgian director Fabrice du Welz (Calvaire, Vinyan) screened his last effort as part of the Directors’ Fortnight section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival making quite a buzz, and now, Alleluia is proceeding forward to the Toronto International Film Festival (September 4-14), for its North American premiere.

Loosely based on a real life crime tale, Alleluia, with Stéphane Bissot, Lola Dueñas and Édith Le Merdy follows a story of a woman manipulated by a loving and jealous husband, Gloria, which runs away with her two children only to find herself soon in more trouble.
