Fortnite Alpha Test Starts Tomorrow, Invites Already Out

Epic Games just announced in a press release that the first Fortnite Alpha Test (labeled Online Test No.1) will start tomorrow and last until December 19. The first wave of invites has already been sent out, but more invites will be sent over the course of this week.

 

Right now, Epic is inviting members of the Fortnite community first, but you can sign up for future tests on the official website. Moreover, those lucky folks who actually receive an invitation to the alpha test can then invite two friends.

This phase will verify at a larger scale that Fortnite’s basic systems are functioning; Epic also stressed that the company is “devoted to taking its time” and “working with players” to make Fortnite a great experience, while finally promising “tons of great stuff for 2015″.
