Here’s A Fix For PS4 YouTube Login Issue

Among the many recent additions brought by PlayStation 4’s firmware update 2.00, the PS4 YouTube app has also been finally released. However, you may have been greeted as I was by a strange login error, which effectively rendered many users unable to use the application with their YouTube profile.

The Web has found a fix, though, courtesy of Reddit user Calculus777. Here’s what you have to do:

  1. Go to: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions?pli=1
  2. Check if PSN is one of the registered devices.
  3. Revoke access to PSN.
  4. Attempt to sign in again.

It’s recommended that you try to sign in through the PS4 YouTube app itself, rather than outside of it. Let us kknow if it worked for you; I just checked and it worked for me, letting me finally have access to my subscriptions, history etc.!
