Driveclub Install Size Is 17GB, PSN Preorder Coming Next Week

We’re now less than a month away from the release of Driveclub, originally scheduled to be a PlayStation 4 launch title and now pinned for 7 October.

Game Director Paul Rustchynsky has been answering some questions about the game on Twitter, and we’ve gathered a couple which should be very useful.

 

First of all, he just confirmed that Evolution Studios managed to bring down the install size via compression to a meager 17GB; it’s really quite low if you consider the incredible graphics of Driveclub.

Some of you might also be interested in buying the game directly from the PlayStation Store, and it looks like the preorder will be up next week.

We have strong hopes for Driveclub here at Worlds Factory, after playing the game at Gamescom 2013 & 2014; this year we also awarded it our Best Racing, Best Graphics and Best PS4 Gamescom 2014 Awards.

Hopefully the final version will be able to handle the year-long hype; stay tuned, as we’ll have a chance next week to talk to Paul at a press event.
