Gilray Praises Sony’s Friendliness to Devs

Stewart Gilray, CEO of Just Add Water which is currently developing Oddworld: New’n'Tasty (due for release later this month), talked again about Sony’s friendliness in its relations with developers (especially indies).
In an interview with PSU, he shared few examples of why that is.
Sony really have pulled out all the stops for us, providing kits and advice alongside E3 coverage and pride of place among their other indie titles… We’re in good company on the [PlayStation 4], and we’re in good hands with the company.
Aside from giving them much needed chance for marketing at E3 and advices which are always welcome, Sony stepped up their game with developing tools, as both PSV and PS4 tools receive praise.
“Sony have finally got DevTools right! In the past some of their hardware and development solutions have been, shall we say, challenging. With PS Vita and now PS4 they have absolutely amazing tools, including tools that work massively well in helping to make sure we stay compliant with their Compliance TRC [Technical Requirements Checklist] Standards.”
We heard praise for PS4 before while talking with Gilray ourselves, but what is interesting is the mention of PS Vita, which is now having a drought of games. Obviously, the developing process is not the issue here, but rather poor sales.
