Sony Releases PlayStation 4′s E3 App
In a recent PlayStation Blog update, it was confirmed that the PlayStation 4 E3 app is now available to download on the PS4.
The E3 app allows users to watch Sony’s E3 2014 conference, which will happen on June 9th at 6:00PM PST/ 9:00PM EST, on their PS4s and unlock some perks as well. Users of the E3 app will be able to complete Gold and Silver challenges and earn Sony Reward points that can be used to receive many different items and prizes, including PSN digital funds. Also available on the E3 app are Amazon Prime free trials, Music Unlimited free trials, and opportunities for early users of the E3 app to be a part of Sony’s PlayStation Now private beta for the PlayStation 4.
With E3 2014 just around the corner, this is sure to generate excitement to PlayStation 4 owners and Sony enthusiasts on what the company has in store for this year’s annual conference as well as the other surprises in store for those viewing the conference.
