These New H1Z1 Screens Look Quite Nice

Sony Online Entertainment released four new screenshots for the upcoming zombie survival MMO, H1Z1 (the first one is above, the others below). Graphics looks pretty good, but that is expected thanks to the stunning Forgelight engine, already seen in Planetside 2 and Everquest Next.

However, a few major websites have been posting their first impression articles in the past few days, and pretty much all of them have mentioned that the game is just too rough at the moment. I can’t speak for personal experience yet, but that’s exactly the same thing I’ve been thinking after seeing the game in action during the livestreaming sessions.

I really hope SoE doesn’t do the terrible mistake of releasing H1Z1 too soon, even in Early Access mode. They mentioned June as a potential target month, but I reckon a delay into September at least seems the best thing now, with people asking it wholeheartedly on the game’s own subreddit; now we’ll have to see if they can listen to this plea.
