Rupert Sanders to direct Ghost In The Shell movie

Director Rupert Sanders has signed on to direct a live action adaptation of Shirow Masamune’s classic manga Ghost In The Shell, a cult in the cyberpunk panorama.
The manga has already spawned a lot of features, like two animated movies in 1995 and 2004 by Oshii Mamoru, but also animated TV series and various videogames, and now it’s time for the first live action adaptation. This untitled Ghost In The Shell Movie will be the second film by Rupert Sanders, after Snow White And The Huntsman back in 2012.
