North American gamers can get their hands on a new batch of PlayStation Plus content beginning tomorrow on Aug. 13.
As we mentioned last week for the Aug. 6 update, which made Hitman: Absolution the new free download for Plus members, Bit.Trip Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is now the latest game added to the Instant Games Collection. Additionally, the Good Friends Characer Pack for Runner2 is also receiving a 60 cent discount. This character pack features: Josef from Machinarium; Spelunky Guy from Spelunky; Razputin from Psychonauts; Dr. Fetus from Super Meat Boy; Quote from Cave Story; and Invisible CommanderVideo, which apparently means “duh.
The Tomb Raider Digital Edition bundle is also receiving a general half-off sale with an extra $2.25 knocked of the price if you’re a Plus member. This offer ends one week from today on Aug. 20. The Digital Edition of Tomb Raider includes the following:
- Full Tomb Raider game
- Full Quantum Conundrum game
- 3 weapons Agent 47 uses in Hitman: Absolution
- Hunter, Aviatrix and Guerilla outfits for Lara Croft
- Shanty Town multiplayer map
PlayStation is also hosting a Japanese Vita sale over the next two weeks where many popular PlayStation Vita titles hailing from one of gaming’s capitols are receiving discounts ranging from 30 percent to 50 percent off, and even more with a Plus membership. From Aug. 13 through Aug. 20, the following Japanese Vita games are receiving discounts:
- Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer Of Arland
- Guilty Gear Accent XX Core Plus R
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus
- Ridge Racer PS Vita
- Silent Hill: Book Of Memories

Also, Gods Eater Burst and Malicious will no longer be part of the Instant Games Collection on Aug. 20. Escapevektor and Superfrog’s discounts will stop on Aug. 20 as well.
