We just received news that PSO2 Episode 2 is now live on the Japanese servers; we’ve attached a launch trailer below.
The update adds a new playable race, the Duman, are a strange breed of humans affected by heterochromia; there is also a new class, the Braver, which will be able to choose between a Katana and “Bullet Bows” as primary weapon.
Phantasy Star Online 2 is already available in Japan since last July, but SEGA did not divulge a definitive release date for Western countries yet. At the moment the game has been published for PC and PlayStation Vita, although ports for iOS and Android platforms are on their way.
