The Water Diviner is Russell Crowe’s directing debut

The cult actor and Oscar’s winner Russell Crowe will soon make his directing debut, as now he is in talks to direct a movie named The Water Diviner, for Hopscotch Features.

Written by Andrew Knight and Andrew Anastasios, The Water Diviner revolves around the story of an Australian father who travels to Turkey to find his two missing sons. The movie is set in 1919, and the two have disappeared after the bloody battle of Gallipoli.
