Square Enix recently released a Part 2 in their FFXIV A Realm Reborn video series, “A Tour of Eorzea”. This sequel takes us through some brief clips of new regions in the newest game in the Final Fantasy series. The video contains clips from both PC and PS3 gameplay.
The areas shown in this latest video are: Hammerlea, Bronze Lake, Camp Bronze Lake, The Salt Strand, De Nevelle Checkpoint, The Octant, The Astalicia, The Bismarck, Snakemolt, Urth’s Gift, Highbridge, Drybone, Camp Drybone, Thalaos, Fool Falls, Bloodshore, and Hidden Falls.
Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn will be an MMORPG, much like its predecessor, Final Fantasy XIV. FFXIV was originally live from September 2010 until November 2012, but received a very negative reception. In October 2011, Square Enix announced their plans to re-haul it and release it as FFXIV A Realm Reborn, setting the game 5 years after the original events in FFXIV.
Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn will be available August 27, 2013 on PC and PS3. Part 1 of the Tour of Eorzea series can be seen here.
