Today has brought news for the Assassin’s Creed movie release date: the film based on the popular videogame series will hit theatres on the 2015 Memorial Day’s weekend, on May 22 exactly.
As we speak Ubisoft still doesn’t have a director, but the selection process already started. The Ubisoft Film Division will produce along with both Michael Fassbender (also in the cast and the only member currently confirmed) and the New Regency Pictures. 20th Century Fox will distribute worldwide.
