Justin Kurzel will direct Michael Fassbender in Macbeth

It is today’s news that Justin Kurzel, who previously worked on Snowtown, will direct Michael Fassbender in Macbeth‘s movie adaptation. The choice was made by See Saw Films, a film production company operating in London and Sydney, already known for Shame and The King’s Speech.
Macbeth, as you should know, is one of Shakespeare’s most famous works, a tale effectively grown through the centuries as archetype of the lust for power and its dangers. It seems like Michael Fassbender will play a key role; some rumours the screenplay by Todd Louiso and Jacob Koskoff hint that battle scenes may be featured as well.
