Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Theme Screenshots

Yesterday was the big day of Star Wars Battlefront. If you already like what you’ve seen so far, you can preorder the game both on Origin and PlayStation Store, respectively for PC and PlayStation 4 platforms; in both cases the game will cost you $/€ 59.99 if you choose the Standard Edition, while the Deluxe Edition costs 69.99 and gives you five additional items:

• Han Solo’s Blaster (instant access)
• Ion Detonator (instant access)
• MPL Ion Torpedo (instant access)
• Ion Shock (exclusive emote)
• Victory (exclusive emote)

All preorders will get you access to the free Battle of Jakku DLC on December 1 instead of December 8. PlayStation users also have a little bonus as the preorder grants a Star Wars Battlefront PS4 theme for your dashboard; it’s a static theme and PSN user Teffon SixOne Seven Don was kind enough to share a couple of screenshots so that you can check it out.

As a reminder, in the last two days we learned that the game will release on November 17 (for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One); that it won’t have space battles (dogfighting will only take place in the planets’ skies) and that it will be a 40-player affair with the ability of play as iconic characters (Darth Vader and Boba Fett have been confirmed so far).

It has also been confirmed that there won’t be any proper single player campaign. DICE has opted for a series of short missions that can be played alone or cooperatively, either online or in split screen mode with a friend. While there won’t be a narrative, these coop missions will be somewhat connected. Still, both Battlefield and Battlefront have historically been about multiplayer, so this shouldn’t be a major issue. Stay tuned for more on Star Wars Battlefront!
