Sid Meier’s Starships release date announced

Sid Meier’s Starships release date has just been officially announced, and it’s March 12, 2015.

Since the reveal (a month ago, here’s the news) it was mentioned that the next installment in Sid Meier’s saga would have seen the light ‘this spring’, and it looks like the schedule will be respected by publisher 2K.

 

The new game is set in the same universe as Civilization: Beyond Earth, and it challenges players to build a planetary federation by exploring the galaxy, expanding its influence and domain while engaging in deep, turn-based tactical space battles. Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth owners who purchase Sid Meier’s Starships will uncover cross-connectivity between the two games, in ways that will supposedly enhance and expand the depth of both game experiences.
