- What kind of changes can players look forward to in Saints Row IV: Re-Elected for PlayStation 4/Xbox One, when compared to the original game?
Saints Row IV: Re-Elected has improved framerate, resolution, texture updates, and new voice commands. The game also includes all of the DLC ever released on Saints Row IV, providing a ton of content!
- What are the main new features of Saints Row: Gat out of Hell?
In Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, we created a brand new city featuring five different islands each with their own distinctive look and feel. Players can play as two of our iconic characters for the first time: Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington. We also have a new way to move around the city: supernatural flight!
- How big is New Hades when compared to virtual Steelport? Also, how long will the game take to complete approximately?
Saints Row: Gat out of Hell is an expansion that features a new city: New Hades, which is about half the size of Steelport from Saints Row IV. We have seen most player complete storyline of the game in 7-8 hours, but since it is an open world game it takes a lot more time to get to 100%.
- What are your thoughts as developers on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One? How much better do you envision a next gen only Saints Row could be?
We have definitely enjoyed developing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – new social features are especially exciting! We have not announced any future games, but the promise the new features and hardware always can mean great improvements!
- Will Saints Row IV: Re-Elected/Saints Row: Gat out of Hell run at 1080@60FPS on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One? If so, was it hard to reach this threshold, now considered as the golden standard on consoles?
Saints Row IV: Re-Elected and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell on PS3 and Xbox One run at 1080p and generally 30+ FPS. Since SRIV: Re-Elected is a port and SR: Gat out of Hell is an expansion, we had to do a lot of work to push our engine to handle the specs of the new consoles.
- What’s next in store for Saints Row, a full blown sequel or another DLC/expansion for SRIV?
We have not announced any future games at this time so I am afraid I have to leave this one a mystery!
