PS4 Friend Login Notification Coming Soon?

PSN
11 December 2014

Today, Sony posted a brand new video on their PlayStation YouTube channel titled “Play & chat together in a party”. It’s clearly made as some kind of guide for new users, but they might have inadvertently teased a new feature.

Interestingly enough, during the video we can see that the user gets a notification about a friend logging in while playing Destiny. This particular feature is currently (and strangely) absent on PlayStation 4, even though it was available on PlayStation 3; many users have been asking Sony to get the notification back as soon as possible. Looks like this could be in a future update, although there’s no telling when this might be.
