Assassin Creed Unity Release New Trailer

Assassin’s Creed Unity has released a new trailer showing Paris and the revolution that has a grip on the city.

Although the trailer is CGI and not in game footage, it shows our hero Arno racing across a city as it tears itself apart as he attempts to save an unlikely ally from execution. The woman facing the guillotine, it has been confirmed is a Templar named Elise. Ubisoft has confirmed she is an extremely important character within the game.

Although it is unclear in the trailer as to why these two are helping each other, Ubisoft has announced a tie-in book for Assassins Creed Unity that will be out in November. It will feature the younger versions of Arno and Elise as they come to terms with the world around them.

On top of the Ubisoft also announced that Elise herself will be made into the collectible figurine that features “Elise as she sets her sights on her target with her gun poised and sword sheathed at the ready on her back”. This collectible will be available on the 14 October.

Assassins Creed Unity has faced a lot of criticism after its announcement that although customisable, the multiplayer characters will always be male.

Assassins Creed Unity comes out on the 28th of October.
