[RUMOR]Quantum Break Targeting Summer 2015

It’s been a while since we’ve heard or seen anything about Remedy Entertainment‘s next project, Quantum Break - announced as an exclusive for Xbox One. A few days ago, Creative Director Sam Lake teased the fans with a tweet who mentioned that a new video will be arriving soon, presumably at the E3 conference or shortly before that. Hopefully we’ll get a deeper look at the gameplay and its mechanics, which are supposedly quite innovative.

However, the real news - albeit a rumor for now - is that Quantum Break could be now targeting Summer 2015 as a window for the release date. This comes from insider Shinobi, who recently mentioned that The Order: 1886 would have been delayed to early 2015 - which officially happened just yesterday.

It seems like Remedy, just as Ready At Dawn, is taking more time in order to deliver a game which fully represents their original vision. I stand by this approach, especially when it comes to new IPs.

At any rate, July is really the weakest month of the entire year for game releases, so I’m betting Quantum Break could either launch in June or August 2015.
