Insider: Amazing PS4 Mid/Late Gen Boosts

Last week, we mentioned that according to insider Tidux, Watch Dogs will get the best console experience on PlayStation 4. This isn’t certainly news, as pretty much every single multiplatform game published for both PS4 and Xbox One turned out to be superior on the former console, which isn’t that surprising considering that Xbox One has a weaker hardware.
Microsoft claimed that with DX12 things could improve for their console in terms of performance, but it is doubtful that it will be enough. In fact, insider Thuway just published a series of tweets in which he mentioned that PlayStation 4 is expected to get some “amazing” mid/late generation performance boosts, and therefore the port difference is just going to get larger with Xbox One.
Of course, the true power of PlayStation 4, as with PlayStation 3, will be shown by the major exclusives produced by Sony Worldwide Studios - that’s when the difference between the two consoles will be more obvious, reckons Thuway.
We should see quite a few of PS4 exclusives on the E3 showfloor, and of course, many XB1 exclusives as well - it will be interesting to compare them from a technical point of view, although in the end gameplay is always the most important thing.
