Thuway: Sony Has Been Working On VR Far Before Oculus

After the announcement of Sony’s PS4 VR solution, called Project Morpheus for now, some have been wondering if they were just copying the Oculus Rift, which led them to favor Oculus as the “pioneer” of VR against the supposed “copycat” by Sony.

However, the tide has changed after yesterday’s acquisition of Oculus VR by Facebook, which damaged the company’s image, at least for now, in the eyes of many gamers. Insider Ahsan Rasheed “Thuway” despised this erratic behaviour of many Internet users, stating that both companies need each other, before adding that Sony has actually been working on VR far before Oculus has been around.

Either way, the future of VR certainly looks exciting and, at long last, feasible with heavyweights such as Sony and Oculus, now backed by Facebook.
