Respawn: No Rest Yet; Looking At Spectator Mode

Four years after its founding, Respawn Entertainment is now close to releasing their first product, Titanfall, published by Electronic Arts. It’s one of the most anticipated games of this year, after getting a lot of attention since E3 2013, and from what we’ve played so far, it seems to be worth it.

One could think that the development team is mostly done with the job and they are finally getting some well deserved rest, but CEO Vince Zampella confessed that it’s not really the case, as they are very busy making the launch smooth and planning future patches & DLC.

Some hint of a new feature could be found in another tweet, as a follower asked Zampella about the possible addition of spectator mode and he answered that they will be looking after the game ships and then they will finalize what they need (presumably through a priority list).

Personally, I think it should be a no-brainer among the upcoming features list at Respawn. Titanfall is a very skill based FPS and being able to watch the best players through a spectator mode would be very helpful. What do you think? Let’s hope it doesn’t take them too much time to add it.
