Shahid: Proud of our record;we’ve done the impossible

Shahid Kamal Ahmad, currently working in the PlayStation Strategic Content sector of SCEE and known for his teases of upcoming games for PlayStation platforms (especially PS Vita), just published a series of tweets clearing up some misconceptions derived from the way people look at the bits of information he shares.

He claims that he teases because he’s excited about what’s coming on PlayStation platforms, but he cannot truly reveal games as that is the job of developers and publishers. This is done outside of the scope of his job, but only out of his enthusiasm. Also, he declared himself proud of what his team was able to accomplish, adding that some of the things they did were thought impossible.

Moreover, he said that the myth about him not delivering on promises could be refuted, but he’d rather not do that and instead actually deliver, which is a guarantee, since he only speaks about games that have already been signed. Finally, he claims that a year ago people would say how PS Vita didn’t have games, but now this changed and it’s proof of the team’s results.

What do you make of his claims? Did PlayStation and especially PS Vita improve under his wing? Let us know below.
